Khatay apps are developed and operated by Quarter Pi / QUARTER PI. This public account deletion page covers Khatay apps that link here, including Split (com.quarterpi.khatay.split), Khatay Invoice, Khatay Bill, and the Khatay web application.

Delete your account from Khatay

If you can sign in to Khatay, use the in-app account deletion option:

1. Sign in to Khatay, Split, Khatay Invoice, or Khatay Bill.
2. Open Settings or your Profile.
3. Find the Delete Account option.
4. Review the warning shown in the app.
5. Confirm deletion to permanently delete your account.

Split provides this option from the Profile area in the app. The Khatay Invoice and Khatay Bill mobile apps also provide account deletion from the account or profile area.

Can’t access your account?

If you cannot sign in, have uninstalled the app, or need help deleting a Split account, request account deletion by emailing support@quarterpi.com. Include the email address associated with your Khatay account, the app you use, and, for Split, mention Split or package com.quarterpi.khatay.split so we can verify and process the correct request.

What happens to your data?

When account deletion completes, Khatay deletes your backend user profile, preferences, company memberships, and user-owned support access records. Khatay also attempts to delete your login identity from its authentication provider.

Companies where you are the only member are permanently deleted with their invoices, customers, products, estimates, recurring invoices, payments, reports, uploaded files or attachments, and related company records.

If you own a company that still has other members and no other owner, you may need to transfer ownership or remove those members before account deletion can complete.

For Split, account deletion deletes your user-owned Split notification records, notification preferences, device notification tokens, and Split subscription records stored by Split. It also removes your account linkage from Split member records and activity records, and clears stored email or phone values from Split member and invitation records where applicable.

Split shared group history

Split is a shared expense app. Display names and shared group financial history may remain visible to other group members where needed to preserve expenses, settlements, balances, receipts, and activity history. This retained history is used so remaining group members can understand past shared expenses after one member deletes their account.

Subscriptions

Account deletion removes Split’s stored subscription record for your user. It does not by itself cancel an active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Manage subscription cancellation directly through the store account used to purchase the subscription.

Data retention

Some information may be retained where needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain business records, or protect against fraud, abuse, or security issues.
